SHAMBLIN NAMED C-USA FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR  Former University of Houston softball pitcher Angel Shamblin was named the 2007-08 Conference USA Female Athlete of the Year announced by League Commissioner Britton Banowsky.
