HE'S AN EAGLE Former Mexican President Vicente Fox has bestowed the Decoration of the Order of the Aztec Eagle, the government’s highest award given to a foreign national, on University of Houston Law Professor Stephen T. Zamora. The award recognizes Zamora’s dedication to scholarship and teaching that promotes understanding between the U.S. and Mexico. more
ENGINEERING DEAN TO RETIRE Raymond W. Flumerfelt, who has served as the dean and professor at the Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston since 1998, will retire from that position effective Fall 2007. more
