Feedback Welcome to Enhance Student Learning at UH
UH has developed a multi-year Quality Enhancement
Plan (QEP) to improve student learning— “Reality-based
Learning: Transforming the Undergraduate Experience through Research.”
The reality-based learning initiative is focused on providing opportunities
and resources for integrating research and inquiry-based learning
into the undergraduate experience - including more opportunities for
students to work on real-world team projects in their courses. Alumni
are invited to visit the QEP
Feedback site to review the Draft QEP Report and share their feedback
during the open comment period: Dec. 20, 2007 – Jan. 18, 2008.
As part of the re-accreditation process, the Southern Association
of Colleges and Schools (SACS) requires institutions to develop a
Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) related to student learning. The plan
provides UH an opportunity to renew its commitment to students and
enhance their learning experience. By providing opportunities and
resources to support research and inquiry-based learning, UH’s
QEP aims to improve student competencies in research ethics, critical
thinking, information literacy, and oral and written communication.
