ALUMNI FEEDBACK WELCOME TO ENHANCE STUDENT LEARNING AT UH
UH has developed a multi-year Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) to improve student learning— “Reality-based Learning: Transforming the Undergraduate Experience through Research.” The reality-based learning initiative is focused on providing opportunities and resources for integrating research and inquiry-based learning into the undergraduate experience - including more opportunities for students to work on real-world team projects in their courses. Alumni are invited to visit the QEP Feedback site to review the Draft QEP Report and share their feedback during the open comment period: Dec. 20, 2007 – Jan. 18, 2008.  more

SUMLIN NAMED COOGS’ NEW HEAD COACH Last week, UH Athletics Director Dave Maggard named Kevin Sumlin as the University of Houston’s new head football coach. Sumlin becomes the 11th head coach in UH history, and the first African-American to lead the Cougar program.  more
