Destinations Announced for 2010 UHAA Travel Program

Have you and your son or daughter ever discussed a whitewater rafting trip, floating between towering canyon walls, beside vast meadows dotted with wildflowers, and wildlife at every bend? Well, the Snake River Whitewater Adventure is just one of the 2010 offerings from The University of Houston Alumni Association Travel Program. Here are the rest:

Scheduled for June 2010, our Voyage into the Classical World: Greece, the Greek Islands, and Turkey, hosted by UH System Chancellor and UH President Renu Khator and Dr. Suresh Khator, boards alumni on the 114-passenger Corinthian I. If the eastern Mediterranean isn’t your thing, our Legends of the Nile trip or Alumni Campus Abroad Experiences in Provence, the Italian Lake District, and Scotland might get you packing. Still not sold? Perhaps a weeklong river cruise through the Holiday Markets on the Danube, is what you need.

Want to know more? E-mail Shivaughn Batiste, director of special events and stewardship activities, at snbatist@central.uh.edu for more information than you could possibly fit in that well-worn portmanteau.
