| Let the Summer Fun Begin

If you're looking for some exciting activities for your child, summer camp at the University of Houston is a must. Your child can perfect his or her slam-dunk, learn about science or just have fun at one of the many camps offered on campus this summer.
UH sponsors a variety of summer camps, and your child can get a taste of what it’s like to work in fields such as architecture, engineering, journalism and hospitality as well as sharpen their critical thinking skills while exploring science and computers. They also can hone their athletic and leadership abilities and enhance their artistic talents.
And if your child simply wants to romp and play, our Campus Recreation and Wellness Center is offering a Summer Day Camp for children ages 5–11 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. June 4 through August 24. Camp Rec will offer special sessions on sports, arts and fitness, along with field trips and swimming lessons. For more information, contact Jay Parks at ghparks@uh.edu or call 713-743-9511.
For the full spectrum of camps offered across the UH System, check out our Summer Camp Calendar.
