UH Men’s Hoops Schedule Announced

The University of Houston announced its 2007-08 men's basketball schedule that includes non-conference home games against perennial powerhouses Kentucky and Arizona, a trip to the Puerto Rico Tip Off tournament and 16 Conference USA games featuring home and home match-ups against Memphis, UTEP, Rice, UCF and SMU.

"This is the most attractive home schedule we have had when you look at our conference and non-conference games," UH head coach Tom Penders said. "I don't know of too many schools that play two national powers in non-conference home games in the same year. Then, when you look at the improvements of teams in our league, we are playing some of the top Conference USA teams at home as well."
