How often does the magazine appear?
The University of Houston Magazine is published three times a year: fall, spring, and summer.

What’s the magazine’s mission?
The purpose of The University of Houston Magazine is to provide a quality, centralized alumni magazine that integrates and disseminates points of pride to all alumni to inspire, promote, and facilitate alumni connection to, participation in, and support of the university.

Who gets the magazine?
Alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the University of Houston.

What office at the University publishes the magazine?
The University of Houston Magazine is published at no cost to recipients by UH’s Division of University Advancement, Office of University Relations.

How do you submit a letter to the editor?

What kinds of stories do you look for?
We invite our readers to experience stories about the people, programs, accomplishments, and challenges of the University of Houston community. We seek story ideas from a variety of sources—internally and externally. In our features, we address societal topics of general interest and the role the UH community plays. We also provide useful news items on a variety of lifestyle topics, including health, finances, communication, and parenting.

How do I submit a story idea?
You may submit a story idea(s) on this Web site by clicking on the Feedback link. You may also e-mail us at magazine@uh.edu. Our mailing address is 301 McElhinney Hall, Houston, Texas 77204-5018.

How do I submit a class note(s)?
You may submit a class note(s) online. Class note(s) are considered alumni personal or professional achievements you would like to share.

Do you use freelance writers?
Yes. You may submit a detailed written query to Editor, The University of Houston Magazine.

Can I place an advertisement in the magazine?
No. At this time, the magazine does not accept or solicit paid advertisements.

How can I make a donation to the University of Houston?
