Letters to the Editor
Our Inaugural Issue

I just received the UH magazine and read it from cover to cover. It’s a great magazine. It brought back great memories. I attended a wedding on campus and stayed at the on-site hotel last winter. It had been 32 years since I graduated. It was nice to be back, and the magazine will provide a means to stay abreast of what is happening on campus.
Thanks!

I really liked the new UH magazine. I am one of those rare people who reads every newspaper, magazine, and publication that comes addressed to me. I enjoyed the news about alumni, especially the specific articles about fellow alumni. I’ve traveled and lived in many states and countries, so it is rewarding to see how we have impacted the community and the world.

I was surprised to see the magazine of my alma mater today in my home in Islamabad, Pakistan. That shows a lot. It tells me my university hasn’t forgotten its graduates no matter where they are today in this world. Thanks for remembering after all these years. That gesture means a lot to me.

The magazine is a great way of staying updated with UH information!! I love it!

"I am really impressed with the direction the university has taken and, more importantly, letting alumni know (about it) through this magazine. This magazine has re-sparked a pride in me to be a Cougar! Thanks a bunch.

I just read the online version of The University of Houston Magazine, and I loved it. I really look forward to getting updates on UH and what the school is doing in the community. Additionally, I found the master plan outlined in the magazine very interesting and exciting for UH and Houston. Keep up the good work!

I am not an alumna yet. I did, however, read your magazine. I am quite impressed. Nothing less than amazing!

I wanted to quickly say that I am impressed and pleased with the quality of this magazine. The articles discussing the twenty-year master plan for UH were particularly exciting and interesting. Best Regards.

Wonderful magazine, great articles, ideas, and a way to keep in touch. Truly outstanding.
Great to see such enthusiasm and motivation to raise the level of Cougar pride and make
UH count as not just a university no one’s heard of but one that will make a statement about the person, the city, and the education received. I hope that with the new master plan and this wonderful outreach that the response to a UH degree will change from oh ok, to an oh WOW ... Again, thank you and keep up the great job.

My husband, Robert Lee Day, and I are enjoying the magazine, but we had four sent to our home. We could save you some money if you only sent one to our household. Thank you.
